Experience

A native Spanish speaker from Mexico. I moved to the USA in 1995 and married a Pennsylvania engineer working in Arizona at the time. I was blessed with the opportunity to home school our first child using a bilingual program I created myself. Starting each of our next four children on the same program until they eventually entered a fantastic charter school. I dedicated myself to volunteering and tutoring Spanish at that school for seven years before moving to Pittsburgh in 2012. In 2013, I began tutoring and teaching Spanish to kids from 18 months to 17 years old for a number of home school families in the area. I really enjoy passing on my knowledge and love of the Spanish language to the next generation. I believe the key to high productive learning is making every lesson fun and memorable.
